This is an all original survivor with some of the best paperwork I have seen .
I have driven many Corvettes and most drive well , but this one is exceptional , I doubt that anyone
would disagree as to the performance of this car . As 1972 brought the last of the LT-1 cars and the first of the
Elkhart green , combined with the last year for a chrome bumper car and the first for the actual VIN # to decode an
LT-1 ( and big block that year ) in the car it makes for an interesting piece of corvette history . This car comes
with a book of paperwork that shows ownership retention to detail as to keep it documented for future history in
the Corvette world . Even back then someone cared enough to keep all the original paperwork and documents as they
had the foresight to know this would be a sought after car . I have the original Titled when issued new , even the
original mailing envelope it came in .Condition is remarkable as to the function of the car , everything works
properly , so you will not be sorting through all the gremlins to make it work as it should . Interior speaks
volumes as to the care a survivor has been given , the body is in great shape and should not be restored in my
opinion but rather preserved as a true survivor . Car has its all original body and paint , much new to the
mechanical s . Original Protec-O-Plate . It is a wide ratio 4 speed with 3.70 rear . All original motor . When the
car was judged as a 2nd place NCRS red ribbon , much of the deficits were corrected ( new heater core , cigarette
lighter /seat did not retract well , one marker light out , and headlamps returned to T-3's ) to bring this car up
to a Top Flight NCRS car .The interior is original as well and not restored , if you like original cars then this
is a great one .
